Many moons ago when I was a young’un, I took great pleasure in doodiling comic book style characters. I found it easy to do and somewhat therapeutic and was in constant amazement at the abilities of the comic artists of today and yesteryear. To not only create emotive and imaginative images and enveloping atmosphere, but to also effectively fulfill often complex narratives without compromising technique or character development, is a skill all of its own.
